General Info

The port of Bandirma is situated on the south coast on the Sea of Marmara.

It is one of the major outlets for exports/imports of dry bulks of Marmara Region. The port has modern infrastructure and is protected by two breakwaters of 1000 m and 500 m . long. The width between the breakwaters is 225 m . The port is also connected with state railway and highway network.

The total length of the berths serving bulk traffic is 1315 m . with depths 8 to 12 m . loading and discharging operations at the berths are carried out by portal shore cranes. A grain silo belonging to TMO (Turkish Grain Board) of 34.000 tons capacity is available and has a conveyor connection with the quay.
