General Info

A grain silo belonging to TMO (Turkish Grain Board) of 30.000 tons capacity is available.

The port has a ship to shore bridge system to serve the railway-maritime-highway combined transport among North European, Commonwealth Independent States (CIS) and Middle East countries. It has 184.5 m . long, 26.5 m . width and 7.4 m . depth. Capacity of this system is available for the vessels of 12.000 dead weight tons. For the future traffic demands, it is possible to upgrade this system up to 3 or 5 lines.

Free Trade Zone is near the port. It covers an area of 71.000 sqm, where the activities at the zone started into service end of 1998.
